Dropped off the face of the earth

Okay, so maybe I have disappeared. But not really. It has been a long time since I updated, but I'm still around. I just haven't been spending much time on my computer. Work is keeping me really busy, and when I'm not working I've been spending a lot of time with my new iPod. Yes, I broke down and got an iPod. Now everyone knows that I'm a Mac geek. Although for the record this is the first time I bought a "trendy" i-product from Apple. I'm really not that Mac obsessed, I just wanted an mp3 player that I knew would be compatible with my computer.

At work, I've been mostly spending my time with databases. Currently I'm making a program that will eventually provide us with a searchable index of all the old documents and stuff we have laying around. It doesn't sound that exciting, but it will actually help us out a lot. Other than that, I've mostly been working on random tasks. I still haven't gone out to the field, but I should in a couple weeks or so. Anyway, other than that not much is going on. So I guess you'll hear from me the next time I bother to update.
